How can the next president fix our economy
The next president will have tough time getting gas prices down. Also they will need to fix the real estate crisis and the credit crisis. They should fix the broken health-care problems. There is major job-insecurity. Some people think we are in a recession. A recession always leads to reduced incomes. The next president has a tough task ahead of him.
An offer Burma can't refuse
At least 30,000 people died in Burma. The U.N. estimates that the total could get up to 100,000. The number of people that could die from disease and starvation could reach 2 million. At first the military junta that runs Burma said they would not allow help from other countries. Houndreds of aid workers have been denied visas.

Shi'ite gunman overpowered the sunni's and had a quick victory.There was 6 hours of all-out fighting. The sunni's had no shot at winning. The shi'ites were severely out manned and didnt have enough weapons. The shi'ites come from Syria and India.
Out of the ruins
Thousands of people escpecially children were killed during the earthquake that rocked China. Most of the damages were done to schools.Rescue workers are still searching through the rubble but the likely hood of finding survivors is slim to none.Most buildings were destroyed during the quake.

Genetic Discrmination
Last week, the U.S. House of Representatives voted 414 to 1 to outlaw genetic discrimination. The only dissenter was the libertarian Ron Paul. The Senate passed the same bill unanimously, and President Bush is ready to sign it.
Why the world can't afford food.
The cost of food in the world is going up. and farmers are selling there corn so that people can use it for ethanol. The cost of meat has gone up 124% since 2004. Food cost also has an effect on the energy costs. Pop hasn't been going up lately. since the economy is going up in China and in India,it is enabling people to buy pricier healthy food like fruits and vegetables.
